OUR SOCIALLY RESPONSIBLE APPROACH TO PROMOTE UNIVERSAL WELLBEING

Founded in 1977, Biologique Recherche has been offering its clientele individually tailored beauty expertise for over 40 years, with exceptional personalized treatments that deliver recognized clinical results. Our approach to skincare is very much centered on the individual – Biologique Recherche’s purpose is to further skin quality and health, helping enhance the self-esteem that’s so essential to people’s fundamental wellbeing. To this end all our staff, distributors, suppliers and wider stakeholders strive daily to improve societal and environmental wellbeing, now and in the future. Our approach, as set out in our CSR Report, is underpinned by the commitment we made in 2018 to the United Nations Global Compact and is designed for the long term.

The health and safety of our end customers is an unwavering consideration at Biologique Recherche. It is manifest in the consistent quality of our products and services, our products’ compliance with current regulations, and our constant pursuit of ecoresponsibility in our packaging and formulations. These exacting specifications are supported by transparent communication with our customers, both about the composition and the origin of our skincare products.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
IS A KEY FOCUS FOR OUR BUSINESS

In the cosmetics sector in particular, reducing the environmental footprint must be tackled both at production facilities and through greener design of products and packaging. Biologique Recherche began to integrate these issues into its strategic thinking several years ago. We’ve taken numerous measures at our production facility in Argenteuil, in the Ambassade and the Academy, as well as in our France and US offices. These range from improving energy efficiency to sustainable waste management, and include many specific actions to reduce our carbon footprint such as the offsetting of greenhouse gas emissions relating to our staff’s business travel by plane.

We’re also rethinking our products, analyzing their entire lifecycle from the procurement of raw materials to the finished product’s end of life.

We also play our part in environmental protection as founding members of a project set up to preserve oceanic ecosystems: www.oceanoscientific.org

At Biologique Recherche we’re very conscious that the main driver of our success is our brilliant workforce – all those dedicated people who strive daily to make our business sustainable over the long term. We recognize that to keep our side of the bargain, we must be a responsible employer and operate in the socially engaged and transparent way set out in our CSR agenda, particularly with regard to safety, equal opportunities and quality of life in the workplace – which we firmly believe impacts positively on our company’s sustainable performance.
We ask all our key partners to sign up to our Charter of Commitments in order to minimize any negative impact on the communities along our value chain.
